Welcome!

As a Mom myself, I truly believe there is not a moment more magical than when one becomes a parent. It is an honor when I am able to be part of capturing this amazing process and documenting one of the most special times in life. Newborns are incredible creatures. They teach us so much about human nature, the essence of life and living in the present. In photographing these wonderful little people my job goes far beyond just snapping a few shots of your new family member; I aim to capture a unique moment in time and the emotions that go along with it. All this while creating pictures you and your family will treasure a lifetime and longer.

    Over the years I've had many maternity and newborn images place as finalists or in the top of the Shoot and Share Photography contest. In 2021: 2 Maternity image placed. In 2020: 1 newborn/hospital image was a finalist. In 2019: 5 Maternity and 2 Newborn images placed. In 2018: 6 Maternity and 2 Newborn images placed.

I am not an ordinary studio. I threw out the cookie cutter idea of an average newborn session and a typical newborn photographer when I decided to pick up my camera and focus it on your littlest family member.

I love finding creative ways of showing your family and your little one's personality through the props and poses in your newborn session. I love superheros. My red hair might give away my love of Harley Quinn and the DC Comics family, but I have a soft spot for Spiderman, the Guardians of the Galaxy and a few other MARVEL heros. If you are hoping for MARVELous things for your little's newborn session let me know. Or perhaps my hair usually being in 'space buns' when I meet for a session lets you know that the Force is Strong with me. Do light sabers and droids need to be included in your newborn session? Perhaps you are more the type to disapear for hours into a good long book. Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Dr. Seuss? I am right there will you. But don't let my inner geek scare you off. I was raised a fan of the Denver Broncos and the Utah Jazz but I've been transplanted to the home of the Cardinals, and The Suns. I can still make your newborn session a touchdown with your favorite sports included.

The baby is a part of your family, a big part, let's show how they are going to fit in. So while including your favorite past time, your hopes for your little one or their fun nursery them in your session, I also remember that the best moments of having a newborn are when they are cuddled in your arms. I love including families and of course focusing on the capturing all the little details of your new little one that are so important to remember. I bring love, laughter, care and passion to every session.

I am a mother myself and I marvel at how much my children grow each year. I am so thankful for the photographs I have of them as newborns to remind me of just how small they once were. They too love looking back at their pictures when they were little. I love bringing these future memories to your family.

I am truly both excited and privileged to share in this moment of your family's new journey and hope to continue to follow your family as your photographer and friend, capturing all the important milestones along the way.
